Being homeless can be a traumatic experience – no matter who you are or what your background is. The Bridge Trust exists as a response to this. Our aim is one of Christian compassion, dedication and determination, underpinned by the conviction that no one should be without a safe and secure home of their own. Our mission therefore is to offer what we have come to see as the essential services that a single homeless person may need in their journey from homelessness to independent living. If you are single, homeless or in threat of becoming homeless in Kent, you can apply for help through the following Kent Homeless Connect link.
To access our services:
You will need to be referred to us by using either the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Housing Assistance Referral Form, at:
https://hpa2.org/referral/FormPage.aspx ; OR
By completing the Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, Homeless Assessment Form, at:
Please note that we can only accept referrals from the above two sources.
Our Survival Handbook tells you about the various services that a homeless person might need in west Kent, from advice, to where to get food, to what accommodation services are available.
During the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, some agencies in the Handbook will not be able to offer their normal services. Please check with them individually if needed.
